Job Description

The New York Film Academy Café is currently hiring a full-time café manager with retail experience. This position is responsible for assisting with food safety, quality control, sales generation, labor and general expense control, personnel development, and customer service.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

–       Effective ordering of all products for the coffee shop

–       Advanced knowledge of the specialty coffee and tea markets

–       Experience with hiring, training, and team-building

–       Multi-tasking skills

–       Ability to interpret and analyze income statements

–       Maintaining product inventory at a level that maximizes sales potential

–       Demonstrates effective inventory control, minimizing unnecessary cost associated with excessive inventory, including supplies
