La Boulangerie, a French artisan bread bakery and café in Forest Hills, Queens is seeking an experienced barista to join our team.

Are you a friendly person who is excited to share your love and knowledge of coffee with your customers?

The candidate must have a great level of understanding of high-end products and superior customer service. In addition to barista duties, the candidate will be expected to perform all other front counter tasks when the coffee station is not busy. The candidate must learn our product line and represent our business with professionalism. Salary commensurate with experience.

Requirements:

• Must have at least one year of barista experience in non-automatic espresso machines (We have a La Marzocco FB/80)
• Must have a passion for coffee
• Must make all coffee drinks with the utmost quality and consistency
• Must have flexible hours
• Must have a great personality and ease communicating with customers
• Must be committed to great customer service and care about his/her impact on customers
• Must be warm, genuine and enthusiastic with our demanding clientele at all times
