Job Description

Toby’s Estate Coffee is a small batch roaster located in Brooklyn, New York. We travel the world sourcing coffee, celebrating quality and complexity. As roasters and baristas, we believe that each coffee can tell a story and we strive to share that in every cup.

We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and more-than-competent managers, shift leads and baristas for Brooklyn, West Village, Flatiron, Vanderbilt on 45th and our Long Island City cafe to make great coffee and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

• One-year specialty coffee experience in NYC or comparable market
• Weekend availability
• Knowledge and understanding of brew methods, extraction and latte art
• Warm, engaged customer service
• Ability to work on your feet 6-8 hours a day, lift up to 30lbs and to climb stairs
• NY Food Handler’s Card (if you are in the process of obtaining one, that is also fine but Mgrs/Shifts must have one)

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly ranges $13 – $20, depending on position and experience
