Propeller in Greenpoint is hiring for a barista position

We are a two-year-old, high-volume coffee shop looking for a barista to join our team who is equally able and willing to communicate with and work as a part of a tight knit team. It is highly important that applicants be reliable, trustworthy and self-sufficient.

The important stuff:
You’ll often be working alone or with one other staff member so please:
1) Have substantial experience (at least 1 year) working in specialty coffee as a barista

AND

2) Are able to multitask: able to take orders, make espresso drinks, batch brew coffee QUICKLY while retaining a high level of customer service and coffee preparation

as well as

3) Enjoy working with people (co-workers and customers) and be in possession of great communication skills
