Kunst Coffee Haus is a cafe located next to the Bayside LIRR station. As visualizers, we care for all the details that go into making our coffee an experience. Coffee is a craft, and we envision our venue to be an ambassador of artisanal, third-wave coffee to the neighborhood.
We are open for two positions: full-time manager and part-time barista.
A favorable applicant for the full-time manager position would be qualified of:
- At least 3 to 5 years of cafe management experience
- Strong knowledge and passion in coffee
- Fluency in both English and Korean; verbal and written
A favorable applicant for the part-time barista position would be qualified of:
- At least 1 year of coffee-related experience
- Positive work ethic and communicative skills
- Availability:
M-T 6:30 am-2:30pm, 2:30pm-8:30pm
Fri 2pm-8:30pm
Sat,Sun 4pm-8:30pm
Manager/Head Barista job duties are as below but not limited to:
- Professional customer care with welcoming attitude and expert knowledge of coffee
- Analyze customer needs through statistics and work towards the better sales and reputation of the cafe
- Educate baristas on grinding coffee, extracting espresso, steaming milk, and preparing other non-coffee drinks
- Leading the team with positive work ethic; adapt to different requests and tune between members
- Bring fresh, contemporary, instagram-centric marketing ideas
- Maintain inventory and equipment with responsibility
- Test food and drink menu and enhance existing recipes if needed
