We are a small thriving Brooklyn cafe with a unique membership-based coffee comunity. At night we’re a select cocktail bar and by day a cozy cafe. We need a barista for the cafe for 2 – 4 days a week. That person could also be a cafe manager. Being a manager means being responsible for scheduing a staff of four, ordering, quality etc. But at Erv’s it also means treating the cafe business as your own . We are looking for enterprising and innovative person who will take pleasure in attending to details and in growing our cafe. This means creating and implementing new ideas, refining current ones, and generally being creative about the offerings and invested in the outcomes. If Erv’s benefits, so do you. We offer profit-sharing based on your success . It’s an ideal position for someone looking to open their own cafe in the future. But also suited for someone looking to take on new responsibilities. The ideal candidate should be a coffee person, and probably one who has some managerial experience, though that’s not essential.
