Hole in the Wall Coffee is searching for Baristas and Cashiers to be a part of our new Midtown store.

Hole In The Wall Coffee, an artisan specialty coffee shop in Manhattan, is looking for baristas and cashiers. We are a fast paced shop with a multi-roaster program, top of the line equipment, and more stores on the way. We want to create the ultimate guest experience while we serve the best coffee in NYC. We are looking for someone confident, friendly, talented, and committed to the growth of our company. 

As a lead barista you must be a leader, have excellent interpersonal skills, professional knowledge of specialty coffee, and the ability to train others in advanced techniques. 

As a barista you must have excellent interpersonal skills, professional knowledge of specialty coffee, and the ability to train others in advanced techniques.

As a cashier you must have excellent interpersonal skills, and professional knowledge of specialty coffee.

Here are some more qualities we are looking for in our Staff:
-Excels in communication and leadership
-Ability to articulate and share coffee knowledge to those with less experience
-Ability to share info in a ‘user friendly’ way with guests
-Full time commitment as a lead Barista, other positions are flexible
-Punctuality & reliability
-2-3 years of professional coffee experience for lead barista and baristas
-Knowledge and execution of various brew methods (espresso, V-60, chemex, aeropress, fetco, french press, siphon, wood neck) for baristas
-Ability to troubleshoot equipment maintenance when necessary as a lead barista

NY Food Handler’s certificate is required for the barista positions. 

Compensation is commensurate with experience and responsibility.
