Partners Coffee is looking for baristas and shiftleads at our Williamsburg flagship.

Our story began in 2012 with an unwavering commitment to sourcing and roasting quality coffee. Since then, our partnerships with farmers, producers, baristas, roasters, businesses, and customers have helped us grow and nurture a shared coffee culture and experience.

In addition to serving incredible coffee on the bar, our baristas create an inviting atmosphere for a sophisticated guest experience, working together with store Managers to ensure the smooth running of the café and the safety of staff and customers alike. This means masks, capacity limits and social distancing always.

Qualifications
o One-year specialty coffee experience in NYC or a comparable market
o Weekend availability
o Knowledge and understanding of brew methods, extraction and latte art
o Warm, engaged customer service
o Ability to work on your feet 6-8 hours a day, lift 30lbs and climb stairs
o NYC Food Handler’s Card

Physical Requirements
o Ability to walk or stand for the duration of a shift (6-8 hours), sometimes on uneven surfaces
o Ability to lift and carry weight up to 30 pounds for example packages, crates of milk, garbage and recycling bags
o Repetitive hand motion involving the use of your wrists, forearms and shoulders such as tamping, loading portafilters, steaming milk
o The ability to bend the spine at the waist and squat or stoop in service of picking boxes up or restocking items on high shelves
o Ability to listen and communicate verbally (speak) to guests and fellow staff
