Job Description

We are looking to hire an EXPERIENCED Barista to join our team! We are searching for candidates who is obsessed with crafting high quality espresso drinks and the art of being a barista.

In this job we need you to prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee, espresso based drinks and brew loose leaf teas.

Daily responsibilities include educating customers on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences and taking orders. Also, taking inventory, stocking supplies, cleaning and maintaining a sanitized work area. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and knowledge of how brewing equipment operates. You should be able to work various shifts.

Experience is REQUIRED for this position. Resumes with less than 2 years of Barista experience will NOT be considered.

The ideal candidate:

Takes pride in the craft and invested in providing the customers with a welcoming experience
will have 2 YEARS OR MORE EXPERIENCE AS A BARISTA and at least 1-year experience in a third wave environment, using a manual espresso machine and deep coffee knowledge.
Must know how to dial in
Latte art is strongly preferred (heart, leaf, tulip, etc.)
Having a NYS Food Handlers Certification is a bonus
