Job Description

The Black Flamingo is a boutique coffee shop located in Red Hook, Brooklyn.

The responsibilities will include processing orders for both food (we sell sandwiches/pastries) and drinks, preparing drinks, maintaining overall cleanliness both behind the counter and in our garden and indoor seating area for the customers, some restocking and organization, and washing dishes whenever necessary. Compensation will include both credit card and cash tips, and an hourly rate starting at $12.00 an hour.
We offer a flexible schedule, free meals and drinks to our baristas.

We have a fully manual espresso machine.
Experience is preferable for this position, but not necessarily.
The ideal candidate will have experience with a manual espresso machine, great communicative skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Latte art is preferred, but the training can be provided as well.
