With offices in Fukuoka, Japan and Brooklyn, Kettl continues to create connections between Japan’s most distinguished tea producers and discerning customers. Kettl Bowery opened in February 2020 and has quickly become a hub for those seeking out high-quality Japanese tea, sweets, and teaware. We are seeking baristas for Bowery as well as our soon-to-open Greenpoint location.

While Japanese tea continues to flourish, few opportunities exist to engage with authentic tea culture professionally. Kettl’s mission from day one has been to support the growth of Japanese tea in the US and foster a community of professionals whose stewardship will support Japan’s tea industry well into the future.

We’re seeking experienced baristas as well as those with less experience but a deep interest in tea. You’ll need to be a self-starter who is willing to work as hard as the farmers we partner with, and be comfortable working independently.

Compensation starts at $16 per hour plus tips. We offer medical, dental, and vision benefits to full-time employees. Kettl is an equal opportunity employer.
