Job Description

The Commons Chelsea is looking for a part time barista to join our team! This is a true part time position, only 4 hours per shift, 7am-11am. We are offering 3-4 shifts per week.

This person should be comfortable on a La Marzocco machine, and eager to learn our systems and how to develop relationships with our community. If you are a kind, organized, outgoing person with positive energy, then we are excited at the opportunity for you to join our team.

Requirements:
-Minimum 1 year of working as a barista in a fast paced coffee environment with a strong knowledge of coffee & teas. We are eager to help teach you our systems and techniques, but we are looking for someone who has experience and is more than comfortable dialing in proper espresso and making all drinks quickly and efficiently.
-Flexibility to cover shifts a strong plus
-Arriving to work on time with a positive attitude

Responsibilities include:
-Maintaining a clean and organized work station. Most important thing!
-Making all beverages including all espresso based drinks, prepping of teas, cold brew, juices & more.
-Register duties – we are a small cafe and this position is for someone who can handle both the register and espresso machine alone for the majority of the day!
