PlantShed is looking for the perfect barista to join our team!

Responsibilities

Preparing and serving menu items to customers to include coffee, tea, espresso drinks, etc, that are consistent with quality standards
Maintain a clean work space, quality products, excellent customer service
Exhibiting a familiarity with daily menus and beverage ingredients
Maintaining a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment

Qualifications & Expectations

Minimum 2+ years experience in a specialty coffee shop
Previous food and beverage experience as a barista, busser/runner, or serving assistant capacity
Food handlers license or the ability to obtain it quickly
A seasoned veteran, comfortable with precise coffee machines (La Marzocco Linda PB), rigorous maintenance, and a high volume of customers
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Great sense of hospitality and coffee culture
Must have proven reliability, excellent references, a flexible schedule, and availability to work weekends and Holidays
Maintaining and upholding our company’s vision and values
Team player, excited to work at a new location in a new market!
