Job Description

Casa Nela is seeking Baristas for the launch of “Rosemary’s Pantry,” at the Rosemary’s location in StuyTown. The Pantry will feature specialty coffee drinks as well as serve Rosemary’s Italian inspired provisions and fare to be enjoyed on the go and at home. Baristas & Counter staff will be a key members of the team – providing a great and consistent experience for our neighborhood guests on a daily basis.

Responsibilities include:
• Preparing authentic Italian espresso and coffee drinks, including latte art
• Maintaining a calm demeanor during periods of high volume
• Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about coffee, tea, and drink preparation and Italian  provisions
• Accurately rings in orders on the POS, processes payments, gives accurate change, abides by all cash handling standards
• Cleans/Sanitize work areas, organized and compliant with Department of Health standards
•Great communication skills in order to maintain interpersonal relations with co-workers and guests

This position is hourly $18+Tips
