$20 p/h + tips ($5-$8 p/h)

As NYC’s leading specialty coffee provider, Black Fox is a progressive organization seeking a like-minded Kiosk Supervisor to oversee and manage our Wall Street location.

Black Fox’s multi-roaster approach provides an unrivaled variety and constantly rotating selection of some of the best coffees from roasters across the United States and the world. Black Fox also sources and roasts our own top-quality coffees and such we are searching for our next leader to take the reins out of our ‘Cellar Door” location. This location will exclusively serve Black Fox coffees and be the go-to location for partnerships and potential clients to meet and learn about our product as well as be open to the public. We are seeking a very coffee-centric leader who is passionate about coffee and its industry overall.

This role will be FT, spending the majority of your hours on the floor as well as some dedicated administration hours. This role would suit an autonomous worker who is looking to focus heavily on developing their coffee knowledge and skills further and loves providing incredible coffee experiences to guests. You will have direct access to our Coffee Director and will assist in Black Fox coffee QC and development.

Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years experience as a Barista in specialty coffee (senior positions preferred)
Proven ability to multitask and prioritize
Experience ordering stock and stock rotation
Ability to dial in espresso and filter (recipe creation)
Confident communication skills and ability to make quick informed decisions
Passion for providing an exceptional hospitality experience
Detail-oriented and reliable
NYC Food Handlers Card (or willing to obtain one after hire)
Must be available to work 35-40 hours a week (weekend availability preferred but not essential)
