Job Description

We’re a bottled cocktail brand opening a daytime specialty coffee bar. We have a glorious, spacious sunlit tasting room that lies dormant during the day in an alcove woefully underserved with coffee options. The space was designed by Crosby Studios and lies smack bang in between Williamsburg and Bushwick (Montrose on the L). Meserole Street acts as a main thoroughfare for folks traveling between the two neighborhoods and is home to multiple startup office buildings.

We’re looking for someone who gives a serious sh!t about speciality coffee to help run the show (think 3rd and 4th wave – are we allowed to say that?). If you’re that someone, you may have management aspirations but limited management experience. You know how to run the daily operations of a coffee bar. You’re friendly. You have good communication skills. And you’re always looking to be better tomorrow than you were today.

In short:
You love coffee.
You like people.
You care about the details, you don’t cut corners.
You have initiative and a solid work ethic.
You have a couple of years of speciality coffee experience (give or take).

If you don’t have a NYC Food Protection Certification you will be expected to acquire one within your first 3 months of employment (we all have them and it’s super easy).

$18-$21ph + tips, depending on experience, increasing as you take on more responsibility.

The goal is for you to become a full on manager.
