Seeking Experienced Baristas for New Cafe

DESCRIPTION:

New Brooklyn neighborhood coffee shop/café seeks experienced, reliable, good-natured Barista who LOVES what they do. We’re looking for someone who has a deep knowledge of coffee, ideally someone who is familiar with STUMPTOWN and using a La Marzocco espresso machine. Our café is a family-friendly place so in addition to being serious about coffee, you must have plenty of patience, smiles and good nature. Friendliness is a top priority at our café. Will require weekend, early morning and evening shifts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Exceptional Barista skills, latte art

• Need to be a multi-tasker

• Provide food prep as needed

• Deliver exceptional level of customer interaction and customer experiences

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience in café setting

• Ability to operate in a team environment

• Certificate in Food Protection for New York is highly desirable
