Introduction:
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and motivated person looking to further their career within the speciality coffee industry. We are seeking candidates with a minimum of three years experience working with specialty coffee; previous experience in sales and business development is a plus. You’ll be part of a flexible working environment together with a hard-working team, determined to create personal and meaningful relationships with leading cafés, coffee bars and restaurants. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to create and explore new settings and environments where we can create modern coffee experiences.
La Cabra is a modern coffee company established in Aarhus, Denmark in 2012. We are a dedicated team aiming to offer something new and exciting to the speciality coffee scene. With our US roastery slated to open in early 2024, you’ll play an integral role in establishing our operations and representing La Cabra in the North American market, as we strive to foster partnerships with existing and new wholesale partners. You’ll work from our Bushwick roastery alongside our US team, in close partnership with our Danish roastery and sales teams.
Responsibilities:
Wholesale & Client relations personnel provide valued La Cabra clients with support on all matters related to brewing and serving our coffees within their businesses. The following characteristics are relevant in order to be considered for the role:
A desire to provide exceptional customer service and communication to all clients.
Aim to truly understand the ambitions and expectations of a client in order to provide personalised support and service.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all coffee offerings to assist clients with ordering and brewing.
Establish and maintain contact with new and existing clients in North America to generate sales, with a focus on establishing close partnerships and collaborations.
Ensure that clients are provided with access to the wholesale store as well as assistance with finalising orders.
Arrange visits to clients in the region, providing regular in person training and support.
Assist in the planning and execution of local events, promoting and developing brand awareness.
Assist in performance reporting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis as requested by the Head of Sales & Client Relations.
The position is full-time, with expected start by beginning of February or start of 2024.
