Ludy Cafe is bringing specialty coffee, and a taste of Australia, to the Rivertown area. Ludy is happy to serve Proud Mary Coffee Roasters and Flour Power pastries. Our goal is to highlight the importance of community while also offering high-quality drinks + products. We opened this summer and are looking for baristas to add to our team. We would love to have someone with 1-2 years of experience in specialty coffee, but if you looovee coffee and are great with taking initiative, don’t be bashful to inquire!

Requirements:
-1-2 years previous experience working in specialty coffee (unless you are open to learning and diving into coffee 150%)
-3 days of availability (at least one weekend day)
-Availability to open or close + work 7-8 hour shifts
-Attention to detail and maintaining a clean work area. Food Handler’s education + card is a plus
-Balance tasks such as making drinks, taking orders on register (Clover system), and keeping dining area clean
-Confident in abilities and ensuring the customer gets the best service

-Excitement to learn about specialty coffee more and share that knowledge with customers. We rotate single origin coffees on espresso and pour-overs, so we are dialing in and trying new coffees weekly / bi-weekly
-Great customer service! Irvington is a small town and you’re bound to see the same people each week. Be down for a small chitchat
-Excitement for community-focused events (i.e.-morning yoga, pour-over event, calligraphy class) and collaborating with locals to utilize our space the best we can
