FULL-TIME & PART-TIME EXPERIENCED BARISTAS WANTED – BLACK SEED BAGELS


Black Seed Bagels is a young, fast growing, artisanal bagel bakery located on Elizabeth Street in Manhattan’s Nolita neighborhood. Recently voted the city’s “best bagel” by the Village Voice, Black Seed is looking for full-time and part-time skilled baristas to join its growing team.
An ideal candidate would possess the following:
  – At least one year of experience in a high-volume specialty coffee shop or restaurant. 
  – Familiarity with espresso equipment from La Marzocco, Mazzer, and Fetco.
  – Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide superlative customer service.
  – An interest in learning and sharing knowledge about coffee.
  – Comfortable working in a fast paced, team environment 
  – Experience in or interest in food service!!!! 
 

Pay is dependent upon experience, but competitive within the industry.

Previous experience with espresso preparation is a must. Food handler’s certificate a plus.
