Sip and Co is a vibrant and charming café conveniently nestled just below Central Park, dedicated to offering a welcoming neighborhood experience amidst the hustle and bustle of midtown. We’re obsessed with brewing the perfect cup and creating moments of magic/community for our customers. We are looking for enthusiastic part-time/full-time baristas to join our exceptional team!

Job description:
As a Barista at Sip and Co., you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee and tea beverages for our customers while delivering outstanding service. Your duties will include:

• Greeting customers in a friendly manner
• Take orders with attention to detail, such as allergies and preferences
• Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed.
• Utilize POS system to process orders, and cash/credit card transactions efficiently
• Maintain the work environment and cafe seating area clean, sanitary, and organized
• Effectively manage the workflow during peak hours to handle a high volume of orders efficiently

What we are looking for :

• Possess self-motivation and initiative.
• Positive attitude, active communication, and a willingness to learn
• Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner
• Team players who thrive and comfortably work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
• Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, including holidays.
• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role preferred

While past barista experience is preferred, it is not a strict requirement; we are more than willing to provide training for the right candidate! Pay: From $17.00 per hour plus tips

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
