Job Description

We need a Barista who also wants to bartend. (Please read below for REQUIRED availability)

We’re a bottled cocktail brand with a Brooklyn Tasting Room. We serve Coffee by day and cocktails at night. The space was designed by Crosby Studios and lies smack bang in between Williamsburg and Bushwick (Montrose on the L). Meserole Street acts as a main thoroughfare for folks traveling between the two neighborhoods and is home to multiple startup office buildings.

We’re looking for someone with solid barista skills who is also interested in bartending. Bartender experience is not as important Barista experience.

In short:
You love coffee.
You like people.
You care about the details, you don’t cut corners.
You have initiative and a solid work ethic.
You have a couple of years of speciality coffee experience (give or take).

If you don’t have a NYC Food Protection Certification you will be expected to acquire one within your first 3 months of employment (we all have them and it’s super easy).

Shifts we need covered are:

Tuesday Barista – 7:30-4:30pm
Wednesday Bartender – 4:30-11ish
Thursday Bartender – 4:30-11ish
Sunday Bartender – 4:30-11ish

We also have events on Friday and Saturday evenings so you’d be expected to pick up some of those from time to time too – they pay well. And we’re a small team so it’s important we cover each others days off.

Barista: $18 per hour + tips. ($21ph minimum)
Bartender: $15 per hour + tips
