Location: Drink Lounge and Café – Franklin Ave, Brooklyn
Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Compensation: $18-20/hr + tips
Start Date: ASAP
 
Drink Lounge is a high-end cocktail bar operating for the past decade on Franklin Ave in Crown Heights .  Last year we  expanded our operations to launch Drink Café where we offer specialty coffee & tea, as well as a tailored beverage menu based in/infused with espresso, fruit, tea etc.

☕ What We’re Looking For:
We’re searching for an experienced barista:
·      2+ years of specialty coffee experience
·      Able to produce consistent, quality steamed milk and intermediate to advanced latte art
·      Eager to innovate and collaborate with team on new drink recipes and seasonal offerings
·      Attentive to work place and personal hygiene
·      Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team spirit for collaboration with bar staff
·      Knowledgeable, or desire to learn, about coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles
 
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:
·      Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks and signature beverages
·      Create and maintain quality drinks under pressure
·      Collaborate with the team to develop creative, on-brand seasonal drinks and events
·      Deliver exceptional customer service and educate guests about our coffee
·      Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café space
