Job Description

Most High is seeking a highly-experienced lead barista with management features to join our team. This individual has an extensive background in specialty coffee, is motivated to grow the brand, has an unflappable positive attitude with good instincts and judgment under pressure, experience working in a fast-paced/detail-oriented environment, takes great pride in hospitality and is able to uphold and elevate company standards & quality control. This individual also has knowledge of coffee origins, processes and extraction methods, and is able to assist/train other employees in honing these skills. Ideally this person wants to take on the responsibility of running the shop as if it were their own, building the team and culture of the shop, and being involved in the community and other Most High projects.

We are looking for:
-At least 2 years of experience in high-volume, high-quality specialty coffee
-Experience in a management/leadership role
-Experience dialing-in espresso and filter for a rotating menu of coffees
-Ability to hire, train and be a leader for new employees
-Superb communication and multitasking skills
-A love of providing immaculate service for customers
-High level of initiative and motivation to grow the brand
-Must have NYC Food Handlers Certificate
-Available to work 5 days a week, including weekend shifts

Starting pay: $20/hr + tips.
