Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Café Manager / Head Barista to oversee the daily operations of our café. This individual will play a critical role in managing all aspects of the business — from barista leadership and team development to financial oversight and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is both a strong operator and a skilled barista, capable of balancing hands-on café duties with strategic management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

Direct all day-to-day café operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash management, and POS oversight

Ensure operational excellence, efficiency, and compliance with company standards

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café environment

Leadership & Staff Development

Recruit, train, and supervise café staff, fostering a positive and high-performing team culture

Create weekly schedules and manage labor costs

Provide continuous coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations

Customer Experience

Lead by example in delivering exceptional service to every guest

Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner

Build strong relationships with the local community and clientele

Inventory & Vendor Management

Manage inventory control, purchasing, and vendor relations

Monitor product quality and consistency while minimizing waste

Ensure accurate deliveries and maintain supply levels

Assist in planning and executing marketing and promotional initiatives

Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations

Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of café or restaurant management experience

Advanced barista skills with a strong knowledge of coffee preparation and café operations

Proven leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, sales goals, and cost controls

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
