Responsibilities
• Supervise the cafe staff, ensuring smooth operations.
• Create staff schedules to meet business needs.
• Provide training to team members for consistent performance.
• Deliver customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Oversee food preparation to maintain high quality and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages.
• Order supplies to keep operations running smoothly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the cafe, kitchen, and storage areas.
• Develop strategies to drive sales and improve profitability.
• Implement those strategies effectively to meet financial goals.
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy and ensure proper cash management.
Knowledge & Experience
• Previous experience in food service or restaurant management is required.
• Solid knowledge of kitchen management, food service operations, and inventory control.
• Previous barista and coffee preparation experience is a plus.
• Proficient in cash handling procedures and POS systems.
Requirements
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proven time management skills to meet deadlines and achieve goals
• Availability to work across locations from Center Moriches to Southampton
