Job Description

Here at Sip and Co, we are interested in providing great coffee, simple and delicious breakfast and lunch options, and excellent customer service to all of our clientele. We are currently looking for a Cashier/Barista to join our team who has open flexibility on days available to work. Shifts typically range from 6 to 9 hours each day. Wages start at $17/hr based on experience, with total tips ranging from $9 to $12/hr.

Don’t hesitate to apply even if you do not have extensive barista experience, as we are willing to train accordingly so long as you share the same passion and energy that we are seeking here at the cafe. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Greeting customers as they enter and guiding them through our menu options if they have any questions.
Enjoying working as a team, whether working at the register taking orders, making drinks, or washing dishes.
Processing transactions while accurately noting details about coffee orders, such as milk type, iced or hot, sizes where applicable, for here or to go, etc.
Brewing filter coffee, serving cold brew, handing out pastries and other items, and expediting food items to customers whenever necessary. Making drinks will also be applicable further into the training process.
Keeping the bar area and dining areas clean and restocked.
Complying with health and safety regulations
