We’re thrilled to announce the opening of our brand-new, charming Vietnamese coffee shop in the heart of the vibrant and fashionable West Village, New York City. As the first—and possibly only—coffee shop in the area to offer the unique and delightful coffee jelly topping, we’re seeking an enthusiastic part-time barista to join our team and help create a welcoming, unforgettable experience for our customers.
About Us
Our cozy café is dedicated to showcasing the rich traditions of Vietnamese coffee culture, from the slow drip of the phin filter to the creamy sweetness of cà phê sữa đá, topped with our signature coffee jelly. Alongside our authentic Vietnamese menu, we offer a small selection of American-style favorites like lattes . Our shop is a celebration of bold flavors, warm hospitality, and the lively spirit of West Village—a perfect spot for coffee lovers and culture enthusiasts alike.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of Vietnamese coffee beverages, including phin-brewed coffee and our exclusive coffee jelly topping, as well as American-style drinks.
Provide exceptional customer service with a genuine, friendly demeanor, engaging with guests to create a memorable experience.
Handle rush hours with efficiency and composure in our intimate, fast-paced space.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café environment.
Learn and master Vietnamese coffee recipes and preparation techniques through provided training.
Uphold punctuality, responsibility, and a positive attitude in all tasks.
Qualifications
nyc food handlers permit
Minimum of 1 year of barista or customer service experience in a café, restaurant, or similar fast-paced environment.
Ability to thrive during busy periods, managing multiple orders in a compact workspace.
Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic personality with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Reliable, punctual, and responsible with a strong work ethic.
Availability for flexible scheduling, including weekends and mornings
