Job Description

We are hiring part time baristas and cashiers/barista support. We are currently open for late lunch and dinner 7 days a week, with plans to expand into morning cafe service. Cafe hours will be 7:30/8am-4pm, 7 days a week.

Duties can include: greeting guests, taking orders, bussing tables, dialing in espresso, making espresso drinks, teas and matcha, handling cash and credit card transactions, plating pastries, setting up tables and chairs, working inside and outside, changing records, washing glasses, some light side work and cleaning, setting up and closing down.

Experience dialing in, pulling shots and steaming milk is required for the barista position. A DOH Food Handler Permit is a huge plus. Most importantly we require a good attitude, kindness and a strong desire and willingness to work and be of service.

Eastwood is a neighborhood restaurant, soon to include a daytime cafe, on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. We care about creating an inviting space – one that feels like home, building and maintaining a strong community, and fostering a friendly, inclusive and warm atmosphere.
