Dear Coffee NYC is currently seeking a passionate and skilled Barista to join our team. Full time and part time positions available.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to dial in coffee, steam milk, and prepare other drinks in accordance with company recipes and standards.
• Provide a warm and inviting atmosphere, ensuring a positive experience for every guest.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and dining areas.
• Handle transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and proactively assisting colleagues when needed.
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and espresso machinery.
• Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure calmly.
• Ability to work both weekdays and weekends, including mornings, evenings, and holidays as needed.
• NYC Food Handler’s Certificate (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).

Compensation:

• Cashier: $22/hr.
• Barista: $25/hr.
• Barista w/ Food Handlers Certificate: $27/hr.
