Job Description

Myrtle and Gold is a new restaurant/bar in downtown brooklyn with a solid morning service of Forty Weight coffee and Bien Cuit pastry.

We are looking for a energetic morning barista to lead an excellent coffee and pastry service. The perfect candidate will have excellent knowledge of high end specialty coffee, using a La Marzocco manual espresso machine and drip coffee.

Hours: Sat, Sun. 730am to 12am. Monday 630am to 1130am

Brunch will be opened soon so weekend hours will increase to 3 or 4pm.

Qualifications for Barista:

Experience with Manual Espresso Machine

Ability to calibrate Espresso

Proficient in Latte Art

Must be a hard worker and self motivated

Ability to talk about coffee

Customer service oriented

Work weekend’s as needed

Work as cashier as needed

Food Handlers certificate-a plus but not required
