Full-Time Barista – full time and part time

Job Description

L’imprimerie is a French bakery & cafe opening in a couple of weeks in Bushwick at the border of Ridgewood (Myrtle/Wyckoff L/M stop).
This is a small set up where pastries, bread, cakes are produced and baked throughout the day in small batches for take away and eat in customers. We use local and organic ingredients whenever it is doable. In addition to the bakery, we offer a full service espresso bar with coffee provided by small batch roaster Parlor Coffee in Brooklyn.

We are looking for passionate coffee people for the opening, to work on a brand new Linea PB and serve our coffee program using Parlor Coffee. We have full time and part time openings.
Baristas are also the counter persons and will serve pastries and bread to customers.

We love experienced baristas of course, but we also welcome the right enthusiastic people wishing to learn about Coffee and be trained. Baristas will get hands-on training through Parlor’s education program.

Ideally, successful candidates:
– love coffee and bread (and croissants)
– demonstrate a positive attitude and passion for customer care
– have an ability to multitask and remain calm and personable in a busy environment
– have a NYC Food Handling Certificate or willing to get one
– are detail oriented, team players and autonomous.
– have a strong work ethic
– have a desire to succeed
