Job Description

HOM Cafe & Wine is looking for a full-time barista with a passion for specialty coffee and a strong focus on hospitality to join our team in Park Slope, Brooklyn.

We’re a neighborhood café and wine bar with a small, dedicated team. We’re looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, organized, and genuinely enjoys creating a welcoming experience for guests.

Position Details

Full-time position
Hourly pay, varies depending on experience, pus tips
Weekend availability required (Saturday & Sunday)
Park Slope, Brooklyn
Requirements

Previous barista experience required
Specialty coffee experience preferred
Strong hospitality and customer service skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently during busy shifts
Comfortable working as part of a small team
Willingness to assist with restocking, inventory, and daily café operations
Experience with Square POS is a plus
DOHMH Food Protection Certificate is a plus
We’re looking for someone who cares about both great coffee and great hospitality and would like to grow with our team.
