SEASONAL BARISTAS/SALES ASSOCIATES — DiscoNuts NYC (Bryant Park Holiday Market)
October 15 – January 3 • $18/hr + tips • NYC
Disco Nuts NYC is making its big debut at the Bryant Park Holiday Market and we’re
determined to make it a grand one! We’re building a small, high‑energy team of baristas and sales associates who can help us deliver “nuts” amounts of sugar, cocoa, and holiday joy to millions of visitors.
If you’ve worked in cafés, food trucks, or any fast‑paced service environment, you already know the drill: quick hands, warm customer interactions, and the ability to stay upbeat even when the line is wrapped around the rink. This role is seasonal only, perfect for anyone whowants to be part of a fun, quirky team during NYC’s most festive months.
Positions Available (Seasonal Only):
Barista / Sales Associate- Full and Part Time
● (3 openings)
What You’ll Do:
● Prepare hot cocoa, nut‑based treats, and other holiday goodies with speed and
consistency
● Provide friendly, engaging customer service in a busy outdoor booth
● Handle POS transactions accurately and efficiently
● Keep the booth clean, stocked, and running smoothly
● Work closely with a small team during peak rushes
● Follow NYC DOH safety and sanitation standards
Required Traits:
● A nuts attention to detail — from portioning to presentation to keeping the booth tight
and tidy
● A genuine love of disco — or at least the willingness to embrace our sparkly,
high‑energy vibe
Preferred Experience:
● 1–2 years in barista, café, food truck, or high‑volume service roles
● Comfort working in tight spaces and fast-paced environments
● Strong customer service instincts — you genuinely enjoy interacting with people

● Ability to stay positive in cold weather and holiday crowds
Licenses (Highly Preferred):
● NYC Food Handler’s Permit
FDNY F‑04 Fire Safety Certificate
● (If you’re willing to obtain them quickly, that’s a major plus.)
