Bringing a new slice of Aussie café culture to the West Village, we are keeping things simple, casual, and consistent: great coffee, amazing toasties, and genuine hospitality.
We opened our first store on West 11th Street in January 2026. It’s an incredibly exciting time to join the team — a chance to help build and shape this brand from the ground up as we expand across the city. You will play a vital role in the success of TUCKSHOP — sharing your knowledge of coffee with the team, training and creating a culture that’s warm, upbeat, and authentically Aussie.

Now Hiring: COFFEE PROGRAM LEAD (Full-Time)
We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Coffee lover to take charge of our coffee program, build our barista team, and deliver an incredible guest experience. We’ll be brewing on a La Marzocco Linea PB with coffees sourced from a top local specialty roaster.

What You’ll Do
Lead the coffee program – dial recipes, set standard, and ensure every cup is excellent
Train and inspire the barista team to deliver warm, consistent service
Collaborate with the founders on menu development, and seasonal specials
Maintain an efficient, clear and fun bar environment
Experience in matcha and other specialty beverages – we want your creative flare
Help in other areas of the café if ever needed
Maintain high standards – from workflow to cleanliness to presentation
Keep things running smoothly during busy service
NYC food handler’s license, or ability to obtain one if hired
Who You Are
A passionate, experienced barista with a deep love of great coffee – at least 3 – 4 years experience + 2 years experience in a management role
Confident on bar and comfortable training a team
Calm, positive, and proactive – even when things get busy
Obsessed with quality and consistency
Creative and curious – someone who loves experimenting with new drink ideas, flavors, and seasonal specials
Friendly, approachable, and genuine — someone who makes people want to come back
Excited to grow with a new brand and help shape its future
