Looking for experienced barista to work at a coffee counter located inside of a clothing retail location. This is a unique opportunity and candidate should have a creative passion for art, women’s fashion, and interior design as the store mirrors all of those facets.

This individual will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest standards of coffee extraction and presentation. This includes, but is not limited to, espresso extraction, pour-over technique, French press preparation, and many other facets of the coffee industry. This individual will report to the ST management, and fulfills floor responsibilities with an emphasis on creating a culture, community, and customer experience that aligns with the Weekend brand. As the Lead Barista this individual will be directly responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of ST Coffee. This includes overseeing staff, assigning shifts, coordination with vendors and suppliers and ensuring that the daily operations of ST Coffee are run effectively and on brand working to cultivate creative atmosphere. Part time / looking to fill 30-40 hrs. Must be 21 or older.

— To effectively handle customer concerns and needs and communicate them to superiors

— Work well under stress, and be able to multitask effectively without compromising quality

— Maintain appearance, cleanliness, and organization of the cafe floor, exterior, and storage areas

— Demonstrates a desire to learn, and understands that Specialty Coffee is a continually evolving industry

— Ability to adapt to new procedures with ease

— Self motivated individual will do well in this position

— Needs to be able to take critique from superiors

— Efficiently and consistently prepare espresso drinks according to company standard

— Must reliably attend assigned shifts with punctuality

— Communicate effectively with coworkers and management and work well as part of a team

— Adhere to company directed policies and operating procedures

— Oversee staff including staff including new hires, shift coordination and general management

— Coordinate with vendors/suppliers

— Adhere to the general brand profile related to ST Coffee
