Full-Time Court Street Grocers needs great Baristas and Supervisors

Job Description

Court Street Grocers, a really nice place to work, shop, and eat, is looking for some great baristas. We are most interested in hiring someone who is passionate about food, loves learning about food, and is self motivated in that desire to learn. It’s become very clear to us that there is no better way to ensure success here (or at any job really), and to maintain your own happiness, than to stay actively interested in what you do, if that’s how you approach work, we’d really love to talk to you.

Our ideal employee, again, will love food, will love talking to and helping people out, will have a great sense of humor, and will be level headed and keep cool when we are busy. We love what we do, we love people, and we need that from you as well.

In the past couple of years, we’ve opened Court Street Grocers Hero Shop in Red Hook (Brooklyn) and are soon opening another Court Street Grocers in Greenwich Village (Manhattan). This may get thrown around a lot in these ads, but there really will be a lot of room to advance with us if you prove to be the right person.

Salary commensurate with experience and gut feelings.

We have room for both part time and full time employees.
