100-year old New York City roaster Dallis Bros. Coffee is seeking  a wholesale sales and account representative with a passion for, and experience in, the specialty coffee industry.  This position is available immediately.

Sales representatives at Dallis Bros. Coffee are responsible for generating sales, equipment placement, training, basic maintenance of equipment, as well as relationship management.  This position is responsible for attaining our business goals of revenue, profit, and customer growth within a specific region.  This position is a field sales rep position.

The ideal candidate will:

–        Demonstrate the ability to work independently and efficiently

–        Generate new business in assigned territory through prospecting, cold-calling, networking and generating leads and referrals

–        Provide existing customers with the highest standard of customer service

–        Resolve customer issues in a timely and empathetic manner

–        Organize daily action plans to achieve individual goals and report to the Vice President of Sales

–        Participate in training opportunities on products and services and attend sales meetings

–        Continuously update knowledge of coffee and espresso products, services, industry trends and the competitive dynamics of the marketplace

–        Effectively communicate and convey complicated brand messages and concepts

Qualifications:

–        Minimum 2 years experience in the specialty coffee industry

–        Flexible and adaptable to a work environment which will require many different tasks in one day

–        Have an authentic passion for all types of coffee and coffee preparation

–        Self-motivated and able to manage time efficiently

–        Have excellent communication and computer skills and be able to work with spreadsheets, databases and write concise proposals for customers and prospects

This is a full time position.  Competitive compensation includes salary plus commission and the potential of bonuses for achievement.
