City of Saints Coffee Roasters is currently seeking an enthusiastic and charismatic individual to work barista shifts at its community-centric East Village location. This role is well suited for those who like working with others and prioritize the customer’s experience. An amount of barista chops are certainly encouraging, but this place more pointedly requires individuals who are confident in customer service, adept multi-taskers, skillful situation adapters, and curious – not cutthroat – about coffee preparation.

Although full time availability (five shifts) is preferred, part-timers who feel their skills resonate strongly with the above description are also encouraged to apply. In addition to supplying a resume, please provide a BRIEF PERSONAL STATEMENT in the body of an application email, a modest cover letter of sorts, so that we may get a sense of you from more than lists.

• Be kind to all people at all times (even at 6:30am!)
• Be punctual and present
• Maintain a high level of professionalism
• Engage actively with our coffees and our dynamic coffee lineup
• Take tremendous pride in cleanliness and organization
• Ask plenty of questions regardless of whether or not they may seem silly
• Unpretentiously answer plenty of questions regardless of whether or not they may seem silly
