Opened in 1996 as a neighborhood cafe, Irving Farm Coffee Roasters has grown into one of New York’s most beloved hometown roasters. With eight retail cafes, a bustling wholesale business, an SCA Certified Training & Education Loft and brand new Roastery and Tasting room in the Hudson Valley, we continue to build our business on relationships–from customers to coffee producing partners.

Our Sales team is the front line of growth for our wholesale business. They are the face of our business in the food and beverage industry and are the most essential human component of relationships in our company.

Responsibilities include:
Actively recruit new wholesale partners for Irving Farm Coffee
Work diligently to meet or exceed quarterly sales targets
Maintain positive relationships between IFCR and existing wholesale partners
Work with Account Manager, Service Team and Education Team to troubleshoot and diagnose partner issues and facilitate solutions, including coffee preparation and equipment knowledge
Be a positive and knowledgeable representative of IFCR in the craft food and beverage community
Attend local and regional specialty coffee events to represent Irving Farm
Reports to Sales Director

Qualifications:
3+ years sales experience
3+ years specialty coffee experience
Experience with CRM software
Strong communication skills
Ability to travel
Flexible schedule
Team Player
Self Starter

Salary and Position Details
Salary plus 6% commissions for first 6 months on new customer sales
Access to company health plan after first 90 days with 50% employer contribution
Access to company 401k plan after 1 year with employer matching up to 3%
Ten days PTO annually after first 90 days

This is a full time position
