Wholesale Customer Support Representative
Reports to: Director of Wholesale
We are looking for an enthusiastic Wholesale Customer Support Representative with a great attitude who will work directly with the wholesale team to grow our business and nurture existing wholesale relationships. The Rep will be an ambassador for the Joe brand by providing excellent professional support and representing the values and missions of the company to our partners. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in the wholesale side of the coffee industry.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain good rapport with existing customers
- Be a point of contact for wholesale accounts and work directly with the Director of Wholesale to troubleshoot problems
- Display an excellent knowledge of all products and services and be able to recommend products based on the partner’s needs
- Work with Wholesale, Production, and Ops Services teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new customers
- Coach new and existing wholesale partners to effectively and appropriately use available resources
- Maintain open communication with the wholesale team
- Assess basic account needs: technical maintenance, ordering and delivery, and coordinate with respective members
- Teach customers coffee and espresso preparation techniques that align with Joe specifications through classes, one-on-one trainings and customer visits.
- Assist accounting partner to keep partners within their payment terms
- Provide weekly check-ins to the Director of Wholesale
- Track partner activities within SalesForce
- Track expenses with available tools
Qualifications
The Support Rep demonstrates a well-rounded understanding of specialty coffee and how it fits with a healthy successful coffee company. They will be knowledgeable about coffee service, preparation techniques, equipment, and industry trends.
- 1+ years of proven leadership experience
- Strong coffee/barista skills – 3+ years experience
- Maintain open communication while managing one own’s time and schedule effectively while working remotely is essential
- Flexible and adaptable to varied work environments
- Ability to speak knowledgeably about company mission and coffees
- Must be able to work independently and cooperatively on a team
- Strong interpersonal, written, verbal communication, highly organizational, decisive problem-solving skills
- Follow-through for results and success
- Self-motivation, initiative, and accountability
- Available to work some weekends
- Light travel required
Compensation
The Customer Support Representative is a full-time position and is eligible for the comprehensive Joe Coffee Company benefits package which includes vacation, medical, dental, and vision coverage. Total compensation may include a bonus plan.
