Clubhouse Assistant General Manager

2045 is seeking a highly motivated hospitality professional for the role of Assistant General Manager. In this role, you will serve as the day-to-day manager on duty, overseeing both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations. The ideal candidate is an accomplished hospitality professional with experience managing restaurant or coffee operations and leading a team.
Member Experience
Lead team in meeting standards during shifts, including but not limited to:
Creating a welcoming environment at the clubhouse and delivering outstanding customer service
Explaining all 2045 Club offerings to members, guests and vendors.
Assisting members with inquiries, expand their knowledge of 2045’s services and products, and redirect questions to relevant departments when necessary
Ensuring brand standards and cleanliness in the clubhouse according to set guidelines
Mastering and executing procedures for opening, closing, and retail operations, upholding brand, merchandising, and cleanliness standards

Team Management and Hiring
Manage and oversee the hourly team as the day-to-day manager/MOD
Take charge of the clubhouse’s daily operations, including the F&B program, to meet quality standards and exceed member expectations.
Set the bar by leading the team by example with member interactions and relations.
Recruit, train and develop Clubhouse Coordinators (FOH, BOH)
Own scheduling, admin and performance for staff members
Manage internal processes, provide training, and create documentation to ensure consistent messaging for the hourly team.
Facilities Management
Oversee facilities management, including ordering supplies and managing vendors
Assist in receiving and processing supply and product shipments
Collaborate with the GM to solve problems and communicate vendor needs
Propose and implement best practices and systems as necessary
Monitor and track operating expenses in collaboration with GM
Supervise and develop operations in food and beverage, front desk, back of house, and event areas
Develop and maintain inventory management procedures
Provide insights and recommendations to leadership for developing, implementing, and evaluating operating policies and procedures
Events
Support on-site alongside Event team in event set up, break down and event logistics
Attend events as necessary, particularly for operational and executional support

Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in the hospitality industry (hotels, food & beverage, recreation).
Experience managing a team and leading them through strategy and execution.
Ability to be in the clubhouse 5 days/week; flexibility with schedule, as it may shift or change to support events at the clubhouse
A practiced growth mindset – open to feedback and alternative approaches.
Project management experience — ability to deliver consistently across deadlines
Ability to develop strong relationships with external vendors, partnerships, and members

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing teams in both BOH and FOH
Experienced Barista
