Little Flower is a speciality coffee shop in the heart of the lively Dutch Kills neighborhood in Astoria, Queens. We’re located right off of the 36th Ave stop on the N/W train. We’re looking for an experienced barista to join our coffee program. Our team is made up of talented, passionate and dedicated people who are committed to our craft. We’re a close-knit team, seeking someone who is outgoing and personable towards guests and fellow staff with strong communication skills and ability to take directions.

Our bar setups includes a 2 Group Mavam Mach II, EK43 and E65s GBW grinders.

Tasks & Duties Include:

– Demonstrating a minimum of 2 years of experience in the third wave/specialty coffee industry.
– Skillfully dialing espresso to ensure the delivery of exceptional coffee beverages.
– Maintaining/ordering an updated inventory check list to monitor stock levels and facilitate timely replenishment.
– Adhering to recipes for cold brew, chai, and other specialty drinks crafted in-house, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
– Upholding a clean and sanitized work environment, following industry standards for hygiene and food safety.
– Schedule management

We offer a negotiable salary, depending on your experience and the position you aspire to.
