About us:

East One Coffee Roasters is a diverse team of friendly and approachable coffee professionals. Through our coffee shops, restaurant and wholesale coffee partner program we aim to serve truly ambitious coffee with kindness and grace. East One Coffee Roasters has locations at 384 Court Street in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn and the corner of 7th Ave and 23rd Street in Chelsea. We are currently hiring for both of our locations. Summary: As a barista at East One you will be working closely with our roastery, creating a direct feedback loop from green coffee to final beverage. We are looking for baristas that are open to seeing coffee in new ways and have a strong desire to keep learning and growing their technical and service skills.

Weekend availability is an absolute must for this position.

Responsibilities:

–Provide friendly, accommodating service to all guests.

-Dial in espresso and other brew methods to meet and maintain quality standards

-Develop strong working relationships with your team through support and professionalism

-Maintain work area and equipment to a high degree of cleanliness

-Participate in cuppings and tastings to remain current and knowledgeable about our products

-General housekeeping
