Job Description

Box Kite NYC is a small, independently owned coffee bar in Manhattan that runs as a 12-seat chefs counter in the evenings.  We use a seasonal menu featuring MadCap, Ritual Coffee Roasters and the occasional guest roaster.  We are looking to hire a part-time barista that will help us create a great coffee experience with heavy focus on exceptional customer service.  We’re looking for someone who relishes the challenge of meeting progressive standards in coffee and the coffee experience, and who strives to make great coffee approachable.

It is preferred, but not necessary to have one year of experience in the food service industry with an independent coffee shop, or similar establishment.  Prospective applicants who possess a New York Food Handler’s License will be preferred in the selection process.
