Requirements
• Previous experience in a specialty coffee business is a plus.
• Ability to follow brew recipes, understand parameters, extraction, developed palette.
• Prepare and serve beverages and food items consistently by adhering to all recipe standards, while also delivering exceptional customer service
• Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about coffee and tea preparation and products.
• Properly handle and maintain all equipment. Maintain required cleaning and sanitizing of the work area. Includes espresso machine, grinder, pour over parts, utensils, etc.
• Enters orders accurately into POS device; accepts cash and charge payments.
• Assist with setup, cleanup, stocking, and handling of food items.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work with others.
• Highly organized and intelligent work ethic
• Operates with efficiency and speed whilst executing product to a high standard.
• Ready to share creative input regarding menu and practices.
• Prioritizes the upkeep of a safe, clean, positive work environment.
• Willingness to learn.
• Must communicate and collaborate with staff members; includes providing feedback to management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Greets customers with energy and warmth.
• Provide efficient and consistent customer service with a focus on education.
• Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages.
• Technical knowledge and ability to produce exceptional quality coffee at a specialty standard.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, equipment and service and seating areas.
• Ability to work on the floor, serving customers.
• Provide customers with product details, be passionate in your approach and demonstrate knowledge of all food and drink items.
• Nurture positive relationships with employees, suppliers, and customers.
• Receives and processes customer payments.
• Ensure quality products including presentation of beverages and any food items before they reach the customer, only the best will do.
• Be organized and follow operating procedures to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Ability to effectively restock to ensure adequate quantity and quality, including rotating stock and recording wastage.
• Keep up to date with industry standards and technical knowledge.
