Full-Time BARISTA
Job Description
Devoción is hiring skilled BARISTAS for our cafes in Brooklyn and Manhattan.
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a growing, artisanal coffee company!
We look for baristas who are kind, thrive in a busy environment, and are exceptional multitaskers.
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum three years of experience in a specialty coffee shop
• Have a warm, friendly and positive demeanor
• Great customer service, hospitality driven, and always be helpful with our clientele
• Serve premium coffee according to our recipes and standards, quality control
• Dial-in grinders, brew coffee, pour overs, latte art, expedite drinks, use register, have fun
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining cool, calm and collected
• Assist in keeping the store clean, organized, stocked, check in orders, etc.
• Teamwork! Be reliable, consistent, and have a cooperative mindset.
• NYC Food Handler’s card a plus
• Flexible to work early morning hours (6am+), PM shifts (until 7pm), and weekends

JOB DETAILS
• Full time 4-5 shifts/week. Part time, minimum 3 shifts.
• Starting pay rate, $16/hour. We guarantee our baristas will earn at least $22.50/hour inclusive of tips (we will pay the difference if not). With tips, our Baristas average $25-$28/hour.
• Benefits include paid vacation and sick days. Potential for annual bonus based on performance, regular company parties, and being part of an awesome community.
