About House of Wonder
House of Wonder is a pioneering coffee shop experience for young families, where parents can relax with high-quality coffee and good food while their children explore a thoughtfully designed play space. Our mission is to build a global chain of family-oriented coffee shops rooted in Danish culture, focusing on creating meaningful, shared experiences for both parents and kids. Our first locations are opening in Brooklyn and Copenhagen, setting the foundation for this unique concept that values both independent play and community connection.

House of Wonder is founded by two seasoned entrepreneurs with multiple successful business exits, and we are committed to building a brand that redefines family spaces in cities worldwide.

We are opening our first location in June, and looking for a solid team of reliable and experienced baristas, who are comfortable working around families with young children.
Who we’re looking for:
-Knowledgeable and experienced in all coffee-making skills, including dialing in a grinder, pulling shots, steaming milk, and pouring latte art
-Detail-oriented, organized, and clean-working
-Warm, guest-focused, and courteous
-Strong ability to multi-task
-Excited to be part of a new opening team
-NY Food Handlers License a plus (or willingness to acquire certification)

Responsibilities
-Serve customers delicious and expertly made food and beverage
-Assist guests checking in and out at our kiosks
-Keep food, beverage, and supplies stocked throughout shift
-Maintain cleanliness of children’s play areas, guest dining spaces, coffee bar, and back of house

Part-time and full-time positions are available; we are looking for open availability, including weekends.

Pay is $24/hour + tips
