Asano is a vibrant community café known for its exceptional coffee, delightful pastries, and warm, welcoming atmosphere. We are currently looking for dedicated baristas to lead our offering and manage the day-to-day operations of our café. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee, customer service, and creating a positive environment for customers.

Responsibilities:
– Run the daily operations of the café, ensuring a smooth and efficient service (including basic food preparation).
– Smoothly open the cafe without disrupting restaurant operations consistently by 730 AM
– Effectively close the cafe without disrupting restaurant operations by 3 PM every day
– Prepare high-quality coffee and other beverages including drip coffee, cold brew, espresso drinks, iced teas, and matcha in a speedy yet high quality manner
– Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
– Ensure quality service, product knowledge, and proper equipment use.
– Baking: If opening, bake the allotted number of 4 types of pastries for opening display
– Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
– Prepare high quality drinks that satisfy the customer

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a barista in a café or similar environment.
– Excellent knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, beverage preparation, and service standards.
– Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
Ability to multitask, manage time efficiently, and handle the pressure of a busy café environment.
– Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in basic computer applications and café management software (Square POS system).
– Availability to work weekdays, holidays, and peak hours as required.
