Very experienced barista needed for Cafe Jax on E. 84th St./2nd Ave., Manhattan.

Hiring part-time baristas who are very neat, tidy, organized, pro-active, ready to take instruction and comply with everything the manager and owner ask of you, with a positive and professional attitude. 
No personal drama, negativity, poor communication skills, dishonesty, or poor work ethic.

You must be very experienced and ready to work immediately on our La Marzocco manual machine, with Stumptown product, micro foam, 3rd wave beverages, premium baked goods and a variety of sandwiches & salads, using our shopkeep/IPAD POS system.

On your shift you will be constantly working, as this is a job, not a place to hang out. You will clean, restock, give constant customer service, prepare food, do extra projects that the manager asks of you, etc etc. And if you run out of things to do, you will ask what you can work on next.
You will not talk on your phone, text, stand around, or engage in personal matters of any kind while you are on the clock.

You will always be on time. You will need to open and close the store, deal with vendors and deliveries, and maintain the store by yourself.

You must have your Food Handler’s License, as you need to start with us right away.
